We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate to join our boutique accounting and financial advisory practice in Melbourne’s CBD.

​

The Desired Candidate:

​

• Is a Commerce undergraduate student currently in their penultimate year

• Has undertaken subjects in Accounting

• Is available for a minimum of 2 days per week (9am – 5:30pm) for two years (2021 and 2022), with flexibility negotiable around assessment periods and university holidays

• Has an eye for detail

• Holds the highest ethical standards

• Possesses strong communication and organisational skills

• Has a proactive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills

• Is proficient with MS Office Applications, particularly Excel

 

You will gain:

​

• Practical work experience in a boutique city practice, assisting with:

  • preparation of accounts and general book-keeping

  • preparation of tax returns for individuals, business and superannuation funds

  • collecting investment product data and assembling client portfolio performance reports

  • administrative support including database management

  • client communications

• Ongoing training and supervision

• Proficiency with software including Xero and Class Super
